Branding


In order to ensure consistency between all IFSC World Cups and showcase event’s key stakeholders, the IFSC has defined the Event Branding guidelines, into the same document. 

Main event’s key stakeholders are:   
•   The IFSC
•   The Event Organiser
•   IFSC Sponsors
•   Event Organiser’s Sponsors  



Event Logo

The IFSC provides an Event logo for each World Cup to be used on all the promotional materials.

For certain materials, and in order to reduce costs, the Event Organiser may request to use the Event Logo without the date. In such case, the Event Organiser will seek the agreement of the IFSC.

 

Event Name

The World Cups will use the same wording: “IFSC Climbing World Cup" – "Discipline(s)" “City” Year”.



IFSC Event Branding - Graphic Charter and Field of Play Design

To support Event Organiser in achieving consistent branding on events, the IFSC designed an Event Branding document. This document contains the Graphic Charther and Field Of Play design (FOP) shall be strictly followed by the Event Organiser.

Adaptation of the Event Graphic Charter and FOP means inclusion of (but not limited to, refer to details in the Event Branding):

         Event Organiser logos

         Event Organiser sponsors logos

         Event logo

         Event name

         Translation into national or required language

All the documents shall be sent to the IFSC for validation, see the Global Timeline.  A deposit of 1500 € shall be paid by the Event Organiser to the IFSC at the signature of this Agreement. This deposit will be returned to the organisers if the documents are received and validated by the IFSC in due time and fully displayed during the event. 

It is responsibility of the Event Organiser to ensure the printing of all the elements described into the Event Branding document, and to borne the costs associated to it. 

Additional materials can be produced by the Event Organiser. These additional materials will be in line with the Event Branding and be validated by the IFSC prior to the Event. No other documents than the ones validated by the IFSC can be used on the Event.

In Case the Event Organiser does not provide the required information in due time and/or does not use the proper and validated materials during the event, the IFSC will apply a sanction as for other expenses section.  

 

 

Venue Branding

The Event Organiser shall arrange the venue (meaning outside the FOP) to ensure an optimal visibility of the main stakeholders:

  • the IFSC
  • the Event Organiser
  • the IFSC sponsors
  • the Event Organiser’s sponsors

The Event Organiser shall produce and display specific branded materials (for example: beach flags, signage, vertical banners, roll-up banners, tents 3mx3m…) at following key places:

  • Entrance/lobby
  • Welcome desk
  • Hospitality zone
  • Press office
  • Access to the FOP

It is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to make sure that branded materials are produced on time and displayed properly. The design of the branded materials will be sent and validated by the IFSC prior to the Event, according to the Global Timeline.

Advertising space in the venue shall be shared between all the IFSC and the Event Organiser and be validated by the IFSC prior to the Event.

 

Promotion on Video Board

During each round of competition (approx. 5 minutes before the competition starts until the ceremony podium), the IFSC webcast will be displayed on the Video Board. Outside the rounds of competition, the Event Organiser should display the following content (but not limited to):

• Footage of the event (replays, slow motion, interviews…)
• IFSC logo
• Event Organiser logo
• Event Logo
• IFSC sponsors ads  - maximal length: 30 seconds per sponsor
• Event Organiser’s sponsors ads - maximal length: 30 seconds per sponsor
• IFSC institutional videos
• Event Organiser’s institutional videos
